HEART is a loose leaf tea that contains a blend of herbs that open the heart and speak to the soul- Brimming with wild rosehips harvested high in the southern mountains; this tea will nourish your body and soften your heart. We are so busy and stressed we have very little time to slow down. The perfect tea to make time for yourself, reconnect with your body, and listen to your inner wisdom.
ROSE: One of the best-loved plants for the heart. Rose can allow movement of energy through the heart, acting as a soother to the body and spirit. As a thorned plant, rose can help establish healthy boundaries.
LEMON BALM: Relaxes the nerves and promotes a sense of well being.
MOTHERWORT: The scientific name for this incredible plant is Leonurus cardiaca. Indeed an ally that can provide strength to the heart both physically and emotionally. The "lion-hearted" herb is one of my most relied on plants.
HAWTHORN: Historically used for all manner of heart ailments. A member of the rose family, hawthorn, is well-loved by herbalists and scientists alike for its proven benefits when dealing with the heart.
Full list of ingredients: Melissa officinalis (lemon balm), Rosa spp. (rose) petals, Rosa woodsii (rosehips), Crataegus spp. (hawthorn) berries, Leonurus cardiaca (motherwort), Avena sativa (oat tops)
Directions for Use:
Bring water to a boil, pour over the loose tea. Use 1 tsp or more per 8 oz of water depending on how strong you like your tea. Let the tea steep for 10 minutes. Keeping the tea covered while steeping will lock in more aromatics, resulting in a more fragrant cup. Pour through a strainer and enjoy.
Packaging: Recyclable/reusable glass container.
Handcrafted in San Diego, California, USA. The maker is an herbal alchemist who forages and harvests many of the ingredients in the local mountains and foothills.
