Brushes with plastic bristles can shed and ultimately end up in the ocean or landfill. The bristles on this brush are plant-based (agave), natural, and 100% biodegradable. This brush is made of Moso bamboo which is naturally anti-bacterial, sustainable because it is abundantly grown and not consumed by the Giant Panda and FSC certified by TÜV SÜD Czech, Prague.

Brush head can be used alone for more control. Replace brush head at the end of its life and use the same handle over and over.

Each brush head can be used for 1-3 months or longer
Non-scratch. Safe for use with cast iron, stainless steel cookware, dishes/plates/bowls or sinks
Built durable and made to last
Can be hung for easy storage
Measures 2"H x 9.5"L

Made with Moso bamboo that is biodegradable and compostable (except for metal wire which is recyclable)

Rinse with water after each use. Towel blot if necessary to remove excess moisture. Hang and air dry. Do not use brush head if you see mold. Occasionally dip bristles in vinegar if unable to fully dry. To reduce cracking, keep the bamboo parts dry and do not soak or submerge them in water.

Replacing the brush head: The first time, it is a little stiff to bend the wires and you may need to use a pair of pliers to loosen it. (use caution). The subsequent times, you can use strong fingers to squeeze the wires together, loosen the metal grip, and pop off the brush head. Just slide a new brush head on and replace the metal grip that holds it tight.

None!

Handle and brush head made responsibly in China. Agave fiber bristles are grown, harvested, sun-dried and processed in Mexico using traditional techniques to ensure a high quality and strong natural fiber. Sourced by a mother/daughter duo in Austin, Texas, USA with strict adherence to fair trade and labor.

Brush head and handle are fully biodegradable and compostable. Metal can be recycled.
